The Saint Nicholas Children’s Ministry is an integral part of the Saint Nick’s family. Our goal is to provide children from birth through fifth grade with opportunities to worship, learn, share, and spread God’s word in an age appropriate way.
Each section of this page is intended to help you understand more about our ministry. We want you to know that we view this ministry as one in which we join with our parents in order to teach our children to understand that they are loved by God, His Son Jesus, and have a wonderful future as His children.
Please let us know if you have any questions, or if we can be of any assistance. We look forward to hearing from you soon! To contact Rebecca Carroll, our Children's Ministry Director, click here.
Childcare: The Saint Nicholas nursery is provided for your children so that you may fully participate in worship, education classes, and other special events. Infants and toddlers are welcomed into a safe, nurturing, and Christian environment staffed by professional child care personnel.
Explore the Word: Preschoolers thru 5th grade are invited to join us each Sunday during the school year in Moore House for age appropriate, interactive, hands-on Bible lessons! Each class will explore the scripture through activities, music, and arts and crafts. Our time together begins at 10 a.m. and we finish up at 10:45 a.m. (the same time as our adult and youth classes). During the summer we offer special Sunday School programming in Allen Youth Hall.
Children's Chapel: Sundays during the 11:00 worship service, we offer children's chapel for children preschool through 5th grade. During this time there is a kid friendly lesson with prayers, readings, and other interactive activities. Children return to their families during the exchange of the peace.
We have many opportunities to join in this exciting ministry!
“Let the children come to me; do not hinder them for to such belongs the kingdom of God.” Mark 10:13
